Zodd "The Immortal" is an apostle who has lived for many years and fought countless battles. Defeated by Griffith he now has replaced Guts in the New Hawks.
Golden age Arc
Zodd is an apostle, however it is not yet known how he became to be so.
In his human form he has an ogre shape and battles with cleavers, however in his full apostle form he becomes more monstrous and is visually reminiscent of a minotaur.
Guts and Griffith first encountered him early in their life, it was back then that Zodd realized what Griffith was going to be and let him live. He realized this because of Griffith's red behelit.
After Griffith has been tortured and Wyald had captured Griffith it was mainly thanks to Zodd that he was not killed and the hawks continued on their way.
