Zarbon is Freeza's right-hand man. He was concerned about the Saiyans growing power and advised Freeza about it. He was a witness in Planet Vegeta's

destruction. Later, Zarbon would travel with Freeza to Namek to collect the Dragon Balls. When sent on a search mission for villages, he would run into Vegeta and engage in combat with him. Because of Vegeta's increased power, Zarbon had to transform into a hideous beast to defeat the Saiyan prince, which is something he does not like to do often because he is very fond of beauty. Zarbon would return for Vegeta so that he could be healed for Freeza's interrogation, but the Saiyan tricked him and Freeza and stole Freeza's five Dragon Balls. Freeza was furious and sent Zarbon to find him with a death threat. Zarbon did find Vegeta, and used his beast form to attack. But Vegeta had increased power from the healing and killed Zarbon with a blast to the chest. Zarbon is later seen in GT returning from the dead.
