Zancrow, who is created Hiro Mashima, has no information regarding inspiration used to created him. He first appears Fairy Tail volume 25 and episode 101. His Japanese voice actor is Tetsu Shiratori.

Evolution

Story Arcs

Zancrow first appears on the Grimoire Heart's warship with the Seven Purgatory Kin. He gets excited about getting to fight Fairy Tail when Hades announces the fairy hunt mission. When Meldy gets scold by Ultear for calling her Ur, Zancrow talks to her a bit. After Makarov attacks the warship, Zancrow and the other Seven Purgatory Kin land on Tenrou Island to hunt down Fairy Tail and Zeref.
