Former Kendo Club Member and One of Mai's Love Interests
Yuuichi is a member of the student council at Fuuka Academy. Being a former member of the kendo club, a serious knee injury forces him to drop out of the club leading him to become a delinquent. However, Shiho manages to mellow him out and he becomes more sociable. Despite what claims Shiho has on Yuuichi, the boy slowly starts to become attracted to Mai despite their mutual dislike as they had bad impressions of one another while on the ferry ship that led them to Fuuka.
