Yūji, Shouko and Their Childhood Memories

Yūji, Shouko and Their Childhood Memories is an anime episode of Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu Ni! that was released on

Yuuji and Shouko both reflect on the past, how they came to meet each other, and why they still have a similar relationship with each other.

In elementary school, Yuuji got good grades, was in good standing with the teachers, and everyone expected him to be some sort of child prodigy. Shouko transferred into his class, and noticed Yuuji because he was the only one who treated her like another student instead of a spoiled rich girl that everyone else thought. However, Yuuji only did this because he treated everyone else in the class as beneath him, not worthy of attention. Still, Shouko tried to get his attention anyways.

One day, some bullies from school tried to get revenge on Yuuji by messing with his stuff. Shouko threw herself in front of them to make them stop, but then they started harassing her. Yuuji saw the scene from afar, and felt unsure of what to do that wouldn't come back to hurt him. But in an argument with his "other" self he finally decided to confront the bullies. He got beat up in a fight with them, but Shouko fell in love with him from that day forward.
