Yugi Mutou is a high schooler who, unbeknownst to him, has a second personality: Atem, who takes control of Yugi's body in times of stress and punishes evil-doers…usually via simple games.
Overview
Plot
Yugi Mutou was given an item called the Millenium Puzzle by his grandfather when he was a child. Upon completing the puzzle-- and unbeknownst to him --Yugi's body came to be inhabited by a second soul, a 3,000-year-old pharoah who has lost his memories. The pharoah, Atem, eventually comes to light when Yugi starts playing the Shadow Games , and together they work to find Atem's memories and solve the mysteries of the Millenium Puzzle.
