Hikasa aspired to be a voice acress after watching an episode of Sailor Moon, and later attended a training school to accomplish this dream, Nihon Narration Engi Kenkyūjo. She's also talented at needlework, and can play the bass guitar. She has also played some songs that feature in K-On! with fellow seiyu,
Aki Toyosaki, Satomi Satou ,Minako Kotobuki and Ayana Taketatsu, in a radio drama CD and a live show.
She's been shown to be quite shy, though friendly and talkative, looking extremely embarrassed when people compliment her.
