Plot Summary

Opening theme - 「魔・カ・セ・テ Tonight」 (Ma-ka-se-te Tonight) by 野水いおり (Nomizu Iori)

Ayumu is a normal schoolboy living a normal schoolboy's life, except for the fact that he is a zombie. He lives at home with a necromancer named Eucliwood Hellscythe who resurrected him after he was stabbed in the back by an unknown assailant, and has pledged to use his second chance to try and get revenge on his killer, whoever he may be.

While walking past a graveyard, he accidentally ends up in a battle between a possessed bear and a self-described magical girl who wields a chainsaw called "Mystletainn." The magical girl, Haruna, destroys the beast with her "Mystletainn Kick" finishing move, but upon trying to erase Ayumu's memory discovers that her magic power has been drained.

The next day at school, Ayumu finds himself accosted by a strange man in an overcoat who claims to have been following the source of magical girl energy. He then transforms into a gigantic crawfish as Haruna appears. However, she is unable to transform into her magical girl form like before, so she uses Ayumu instead. After walking him through the process, he transforms himself into the same magical girl (including the clothes and chainsaw) and destroys the crawfish. However, Ayumu finds himself the target of ridicule when everyone else in school sees him still wearing the full magical girl outfit and snaps pictures of him with their cell phones.

Ending theme - 「気づいてゾンビさま、私はクラスメイトです」 (Kizuite Zombie-sama, Watashi wa Classmate Desu) by 山口理恵 with manzo (Yamaguchi Rie with manzo)
