Won't You Practice?!
Squid Girl wants everyone at the Lemon to train and prepare for an invasion. Squid Girl says their security is nothing without Chizuru, and they should prepare in the case that the Lemon gets invaded when Chizuru is not around. Squid Girl in fact is not really concerned about the Lemon's security, but wants to test out her own invasion skills, and whether she can overthrow the Lemon if Chizuru is not around.
Everyone goes along with this for a while. Squid Girl seems to be having fun pretending to invade the Lemon. Then the tables turn, and Chizuru suggests that Squid Girl should prepare for the case that everyone turns on her and decides to attack her (since she is a potential invader). Squid Girl runs away from the offer.
Isn't That a Festival?!
Squid Girl accidentally erases Eiko's game save file just before Eiko was able to fight the last boss. They get into an argument and Eiko says she will never speak to Squid Girl again. At work the next day it does not look like either of them want to make up. Eiko even threatens Squid Girl to go back to the sea where she came from.
Chizuru decides to close the Lemon early so they can all go to the festival at night. The girls all wear traditional yukata. As Squid Girl walks around with Koyomi and the rest of the Invasion Club, Squid Girl begins interpreting everything she sees as illustrating the brevity and futility of relationships. Squid Girl gets lost as she decides to free a bunch of small fish that she won from the *paper-fish-catching* game.
Everyone is worried. As it is getting late, and it starts raining, everyone decides to split up and look for Squid Girl. When Eiko finally finds Squid Girl, she realizes how much she actually cares about her. Squid Girl is sorry for ruining Eiko's yukata. When the rains stops, Eiko and Squid Girl meet up again with everyone. And for once, when Sanae runs up to hug her, Squid Girl doesn't hit her away. When all is said and done, Chizuru reflects how it really seems that Squid Girl has become the center of their attention, and she has invaded them a long time ago.
