Looking around the wiki, I noticed that the Someday's Dreamers series doesn't seem have much content, so I'm planing to add characters for the series as well as to repair the page for its anime, but I'll have to go for the manga series first because I'm more familiar with it (as well as adding it's spin-off) and then moving on to the anime version. There's also a page repair mini-project for Princess Tutu since I plan to do a major project for it on Screened (The series even has a Hulu page, so that should help ;p ). Now, let's get to another subject since we're present into this blog...

There's a Main Image problem going on around here.

I noticed that there are a lot of main images for shows have either a random episode card or a screencap of the last episode. I think that's a problem because not only that I think it might violate a site rule or two, but it could also give out some major spoilers (which is very bad for some that might be starting out on the target series). In my opinion, I would rather stick with using the title card or an official poster image used to promote the series. Now that it's out of my chest, I want to hear what some of the community thinks about this matter. Thanks for your time, everyone.

@Bigheart711:

Stitched caps are iffy. I see Newten adding them on the Fairy Tail episodes (see ep. 88) for the main image, and he adds the regular screen caps. For me, I use an image that does not reveal too much. I don't personally use title screens. For sites that don't remove the watermark, the title screen has a lot of those subs on them. Thus, making them unattractive to use.

If you want to change the image, you have to PM a mod. (Preferably FoxxFireArt).

I wish I can work on other series on this site that need content like Hetalia, Fate Stay Night, and more favorites of mine. Yet, I have this flaw in myself because I have to finish a project I start especially when I have a team for that. The only conditions that I would postpone a project are that other projects take priority, the team is retiring/quitting/postponing, or my school/community service life is getting out of hand.

Good Luck on your Wiki Projects! Hope we can work together in the future.

I have enough wiki points to change main images of pages, so I don't need to contact a mod for it, but did you mean for me to ask for their confirmation on the images in question?

It's less about violating site policy and more about the wiki system being designed so that whenever any episode is edited, the last episode's main image becomes the main image for the entire series. Myself and others have brought this up months upon months upon months ago but it hasn't been changed so maybe that's how the staff wants it to be.

@Bigheart711:

Sorry for the vague answer. I meant that the main image of the episode page cannot be changed. Same goes for individual volume pages. Any main image for the franchise, anime page, concept/object/location, and character page can be change.

I have problems with the main image changing a lot, so I just create a gallery for official art. I click on that and change the image. It's more of a chore when Anna and my team keep doing it.

I wish you the best on your upcoming projects, Bigheart711. May your work on Someday's Dreams and Princess Tutu finally result in those pages being filled out to the high standards of AnimeVice and it's proud Wiki Editors.

@sickVisionz: So that's what was causing the matter! I guess that's what the staff wanted unless it's some sort of bug (which I highly doubt that it's a bug).

@ShadowKnight508: @takashichea: Thanks for the image info Takashichea and thank you in general, ShadowKnight. :)
