You didn't have to rescind your vote. If anything, if I can pull out from behind with no one expecting it, it makes it a bit more enjoyable. I appreciate the vote of confidence though.

Damn. I think I would have gotten up there to 99K if I didn't stall for a bit since I was unsure on what to edit to get points. Fair game though. If only I hadn't mowed the lawn, I may have gotten ahead.

Congrats Daniel! Kudos to Wales for making great strides. Wales was around 91,000 while Daniel was around 94,000. What a close game!

Wales, you're really close. It was intense. Good job everyone!

I was watching the game on the activity feed while on skype with Kuro and Wraith.

@Wales: You definitely would have had me. Quick, now grab the 12th spot before one of the others sneaks in and gets it. Then they can have their own dumb race.

This was extremely silly and rather good fun. See you at the next milestone, maybe 150 or 120... 200 is kinda far off...

Its a little wishful thinking for me, but I hope I'd become the 13th 100 000 wiki editor, since I got that number in my username :P Maybe that'll be my drive to continue wiki-editing

@takashichea: The thought of an audience watching and chatting over skype is just as hilarious as it is fantastic, oh man. Thanks for the ribbon, I'm sure Wales will be needing one soon enough.

@KuroNekoXIII: Thanks. I say go for it, you'd be surprised how many points you can get when you put your mind to it, I think we've proven that today if nothing else.

Congrats to . Wow coming out of the blue like that. The next big goal is the first to cross the Deadman Wonderland of 134,955 where you defeat the four Zombie Wiki Horsemen of the Apocalypse on their home turf and can finally return the World of the Living. Stops and battles include

  • The Garden of 101,138 RedRoses
  • Devilly's Lair of 101,138 Nightmares
  • Kas' Abyss of 125,007 Dead Souls
  • all leading to a final battle against Demon Lordess Gia and her 134,955 minions

Props to everyone. You all will make fine additions to the Top 10 Active Wiki Editors once you weather the journey and battles.

Congrats to for being the next AV member to crack the fabled 100,000 Wiki Point mark. Wales should join that club any day now and I look forward to becoming a member of that club by the end of next week.

I got your bet. Though, I'm confused on making medals after the next wiki editor crosses the finish line.

  • Daniel Newton is 1st place but technically, he's the 11th wiki editor to reach 100,000 points on May 28, 2011 8:53:33 PM. I copied from my Skype transcript during the race.
  • The next wiki editor would get 2nd place.

What about ShadowKnight508, Egan, and DocHaus? Would I give them 3rd, 4th, and 5th place or start over from 1st?

There were no ribbons or medals for 11th or above.
