Whiskey Peak is known as the island that openly welcomes and celebrates the arrival of pirates. Unknown to those unfortunate pirates who get caught up in all of the festivities is that Whiskey Peak is really a island of bounty hunters ready to cash in on their targets.
Known by most individuals as a island of bounty hunters, Whiskey Peak serves as a large trap that lures pirates onto the island so that they can be captured in order to collect bounties upon them. Whenever any pirates arrive at Whiskey Peak, the "inhabitants" of the island celebrate their arrival and throw a massive all-day celebration in order to garner the trust of the pirates. When the pirates fall asleep at night in the aftermath of the wild all-day celebration, the inhabitants reveal their true nature and overpower their prey.
Whiskey Peak was originally created by Eiichiro Oda for use within the One Piece manga, and it is not fully known as to what inspired it's creation. Whiskey Peak first appears in both One Piece: Volume 12 and in One Piece #64 as part of the Baroque Works Saga.
