Wen is a villain from Cowboy Bebop who was rendered immortal and unable to age after the lunar gate explosion
Sympathy For The Devil:
When the lunar star gate exploded, Wen was on Earth, and in an area hard hit by the disaster, but survived and as an unexpected side effect ceased to age.
Years later while pursuing a “bounty head” known as Giraffe Spike is asked by a critically injured Giraffe to “save him” and gave Spike a strange stone. Later Spike encounters Wen, at first thinking of him as nothing more then a child blues prodigy watched over by his “father” a man known only as Zebra, and that Wen was the person Giraffe wanted Spike to save, Spike soon discovers Wen to be the one who killed Giraffe, who had warned Spike to “Not be fooled by his appearance” (Spike presumably thought he was talking about Zebra who was elderly and in a wheelchair) a gunfight ensues and Spike is grazed in the arm, but shoots Wen as well ending the fight.
Later back on the Bebop, Spike, Jet, and Faye use a device to look at the dying Zebra’s memories and see that Giraffe had said before being killed that the stone could “return time to you” in reference to the ageless Wen.
Spike once again confronts Wen, and this time with his pistol loaded with the stone as a bullet, and shoots Wen in the forehead, who in turn ages rapidly into a shriveled husk.
Powers and abilities:
Prior to his final confrontation with Spike, Wen was unable to age and is nearly a century old (or more) despite looking like a young boy. In his initial confrontation with Spike Wen is clearly shot, but seems to have no indication of an injury in their second encounter, both of which indicate Wen to have a rapid healing ability/ His un-naturally long life has also given Wen an unusually long time to learn, this is reflected in skills beyond his youthful appearance in his musical abilities, intellect, and skills with a firearm.
