A character from various "Transformer" continuities like in the "Beast Wars portion of "Generation 1" and "Animated." He transforms into a wasp and is either a predacon or a autobot turned decepticon depending on the continuity.

Beast Wars origin:Waspinator was one of the Predacons who served as Megatron 2's accomplices in the theft of the Golder Disc
Transformers Animated origin:
Wasp wen't to Autobot boot camp with Bee, they developed a rivalry, due to Wasp's high skill and amazing performance he was nicknamed Waspinator by Sentinel Prime, while Bee's frequent mistakes earned him the nickname Bumblebee. Waspinator becomes quite arrogant though and eventually defects from the Autobots, joining forces with Blackarachnia to form the Predacons.
