Wario

Wario is a character from the Super Mario series. He first appeared in Super Mario Land 2 as the main villain against Mario. He later returned in his own two series: Wario Land (a platformer series of similar yet distinct gameplay from the Mainline Mario series) and WarioWare (a mini-game compilation series). Wario is the main character in all the games in these series, being playable in the former and one the many mini-game hosts in the latter.

Wario has appeared as a playable character in a multitude of games from the Mario series, inlcuding most Mario Kart and Mario Party games, as well as several Mario Sports titles. He is also a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, where he appears alongside several stars from various Nintendo games.
