War is an anime episode of Heat Guy J that was released on 10/08/2002

The main mafia families in Judoh are holding a meeting to discuss their future following the death of Lorenzo Leonelli and the appointment of his son Claire as Vampire. Many of the families believe that Claire is too young and unstable to be their leader. Claire is aware of how he is perceived by the other families and at this meeting shows his displeasure by shoving a grenade down a rival bosses throat. This enrages the rival boss who declares war on the Leonelli family and a full scale mob war breaks out across Judoh. Meanwhile Daisuke and J have heard reports of strange odours in downtown Judoh and a lot of people seem to be sick from flu. After meeting with Shogun Daisuke learns that a consignment of gasoline has entered Judoh. Gasoline/petroleum has been outlawed in Judoh due to its explosive nature. Daisuke realises that this is the reason for the number of people who are sick as petroleum based products had been known to cause an allergic reaction in some people. The strange smell people have been reporting is also from the oil and Daisuke deduces that if they find the source of the smell they will find the oil. They discover that Claire is using the petroleum to build a napalm bomb to use in the mob war. The bomb is in a truck that is being delivered by a group of mercenaries who look like beasts, and Daisuke and J track them down and manage to stop the truck on the bridge before it reaches a populated area. However the bomb detonates on the bridge and J has to shield Dice from the blast. The blast disintegrates J's artificial skin and we see J's android body for the first time. Following this Claire and his enemy are forced to call a truce by Shogun, who is a former mob-boss and apparently still has some influence over the families.
