Upon hearing that Ichiko has been kidnapped by Tanpopo as she plans to erase her from existence, Momiji and Keita decide to rally Ichiko's friends to rescue her before they cross over into the world of the kami. But even with all of their talents and resources combined, they still have to deal with the fact that they are fighting gods and not just other people.
Suddenly, Momiji arrives in the nick of time with another misfortune gadget that helps level the playing field, giving Ichiko the opportunity to fight back. The two of them subdue Tanpopo long enough to hear her sad origin story: Tanpopo was a goddess of fortune who essentially lent her power to the wrong people, and began losing faith in humanity as a whole. Momiji suggests she try her hand at being a misfortune god instead.
Sometime after the fight: Momo's origin story is revealed, and Ichiko tries to plan a trip to see her ex-butler Suwano with her friends. Unfortunately, the only ones available to go with her are Keita and his baby brother Sorata, making them seem more like a young couple. Still, Ichiko uses Sorata to guilt Keita into going along with her.
