A little stumbling block |

To be honest for the most part this is another low in the series. As it mainly deals with what was just revealed in volume 3 being that the reason GM Gozen wants to use not only Strauss and Adelheid but Bridget and the dhampires as well, because alien refugees are going to invade earth in one year. Some more bits of information are revealed about Bridget’s past along with Strauss.
However the majority of the volume is about the aliens revealing themselves to the rest of humanity and the plan to destroy them. After the parties involved come to an agreement the main characters split paths. Strauss is sent to a military base to receive training for when he will be sent into space and Bridget heads to the last remaining seals with the dhampire minor characters and Morishima the man GM Gozen has assigned to make sure the plan to repel the aliens is successful.
Although it is noteworthy to say this is the first time Aldelheid is shown in the ending flashback and the first time Stella is mentioned.
