Voltron Force Forum

  As far as character evolution, Daniel is a difficult character to beat in the Voltron franchise. We have witnessed him go from a cadet, actually become Voltron at a point, get infected with Haggarium, develop a psychic bond with Vince, learn that psychic bond was also shared with Lotor/ Kala/ Wade in their Lider Robeast form, be promoted to the leader of Voltron Force, and demoted back to a cadet when he blew his first mission as leader due to his own ego and arrogance. The season 1 finale could have been the series finale for Voltron Force, but a cliffhanger was offered, Daniel while piloting Black Lion turns to attack the team fully infected with Haggarium.
Considering with the exception of Cossack, all the major Voltron villains have been killed off in season 1. leaving room for a new threat in season 2.
It looks like the protagonist of Voltron Force will become the new antagonist of the series.
