Takuto, Wako, Sugata and friends from school go on a trip to the beach. Everyone seems to be having a good time until 2 hot ladies (named Kou Atari and Madoka Kei) come along and challenge Wako and Makina to a beach volleyball game. The winner of which will have sun tan lotion applied to their backs by Takuto. It turns out that these 2 ladies belong to the Glittering Crux. One of them will be Takuto's next opponent.
Now that Mizuno's Seal has been broken, and she has left the island, the Glittering Star are now able to advance their Cybodies to the third phase. However it turns out that in this phase, they can no longer use the Cybercasket to pilot Cybodies. Instead the driver must become one with the Cybody (in a similar way to how Takuto appriovoses). Also the person must have a "true" Mark to pilot a Cybody in this way. Since the Glittering Star have never done this before, it runs the risk of having the pilot stuck in Zero Time. Also if they are defeated then the pilot along with the Cybody will die. Will Takuto triumph over the Glittering Star/Crux's efforts once again?
In this episode the point of the secretive Glittering Crux becomes clear as the majority of them have "true" Marks (these people are called the Vanashing Age). Since third phase only allows Cybodies to be pilotted by persons with true Marks, the Glittering Crux effectively make a coup d'etat and take control over the Glittering Star.
In the Cybody battle between Takuto and Madoka, Takuto manages not to kill his opponent by actually removing the pilot's sphere (the place where the pilot is housed in the Cybody when they merge) from the Cybody. Thus causing the Cybody to be destroyed without harming the pilot.
