The second season of the popular anime series Vampire Knight. It continues where the conclusion of the first left off, and serves as the finale to the anime.
Vampire Knight Guilty follows the further adventures of Yuuki Cross, Zero Kiryu, and Kaname Kuran, the main characters of the first season. In this season, the action begins to branch away from Cross Academy and its student populace, instead focusing on the dynamic love triangle brewing between these three.
Yuuki begins to remember bits and pieces of her past, and seeks to discover the truth of her life before Cross Academy. She must choose between Kaname and Zero; the light and the darkness.
Meanwhile, Zero finds himself experiencing strange visions and facing persecution for the murder of a pureblood vampire by the Vampire Council, saved from an untimely death only by Kaname Kuran himself, for a purpose unbeknownst to all except the enigma himself.
