In a world where the vampires-- "Nobles" --are losing their power, a handful of stragglers still wreak havoc on humanity. D is a half-vampire who hunts them.
A half-vampire, D is an itinerant wanderer who helps where he's needed, usually dispatching members of the fallen nobility of vampires who cause trouble for the human villages in this mix of all things pulp: occult, western, horror, sci-fi, and high fantasy are all at play here.
