Nanami wishes to become a song writer for a male idol. She is accepted into the Saotome Academy for idols. She meets six talented bishonen there.

Nanami Haruka is a shy teenage girl who dreams of becoming a talented song writer. She learned piano at a very young age, and was inspired to become a song writer when she listened to the works of male idol "Hayato". After passing the entrance exam, Nanami is accepted into Saotome Academy, an elite entertainment industry school developed for the sole purpose of nurturing future idols, both male and female.

While at school, six aspiring male idols Ren Jinguji, Otoya Ittoki, Masato Hijirikawa, Shou Kurusu, Natsuki Shinomiya and Tokiya Ichinose fall for Nanami after they learn about her past. All of the boys are serious about their dreams of becoming idols, and would love for Nanami to write songs for them to sing. However, one of the main rules at Saotome is never to have love relationships with other students, or else you will be kicked out, thus ruining one's chances of becoming an idol or song-writer.

The series follows Nanami as she pursues her dream of becoming a song-writer while getting to know the other aspiring male idols and their stories.
