After the seventeen month time skip, little has changed about Ururu. The biggest difference is that her hair is no longer in pigtails, and the bangs in front of her face appears to be slightly shorter.
Ururu and Jinta were in front of the Urahara's Shop when Rukia Kuchiki came to is Kisuke Urahara. She was there for an order, and Urahara asked Ururu to get the special ordered Soul Candy. What was only discovered later was that Ururu had accidentally got the defective Mod Soul. Ururu was guilt ridden and thought Kisuke would punish her. He just reached out and embarrassed her saying it was just an accident. Kisuke, Jinta, and Tessai Tsukabishi went out to reclaim the defective Mod Soul. They tracked it down without incident, but Ichigo Kurosaki and Rukia wanted to keep it. They later placed the Mod Soul into a stuffed toy and named him Kon.
When the TV ghost-hunting show starring Don Kanonji came to Karakura Town, Ururu accompanied Kisuke since she loved the show. It was there Kisuke used his cane to help Ichigo use his Soul Reaper powers. They didn't get involved in the fight with the Hollow. Several days later, Ururu notices a black cat standing outside. When she points the animal out, Kisuke knows it as his old friend Yoruichi Shihoin.
After Ichigo Kurosaki loses his Soul Reaper powers in a fight with the Renji Abarai and Byakuya Kuchiki, Ichigo comes to Urahara with the promise of reclaiming his powers so he can rescue Rukia from execution for helping him. It was Ururu that took care of the first stage of this training. She was asked to attack him as part of a test to see if he could avoid her. Ichigo regretted not taking her seriously when her punches crushed rock. When he accidentally struck her face and drew blood. Her mood changed drastically, and she looked intent to kill. She suddenly appeared standing on his hand and delivered a devastating kick. Urahara was stopped by Kisuke, and step two took place in the large pit Ururu had proudly dug extra deep. Ichigo regained his Soul Reaper powers, but also underwent Hollowfication. He spend several more days working on his combat skills.
Ichigo left for the Soul Society from Urahara's Shop with Yoruichi, Sado Yasutora, and Uryuu Ishida, a Quincy. With Karakura Town undefended from Hollows, Ururu ended up joining Don Kanonji's team the Karakura Superheroes as Karakura Pink. Aming the team was Jinta and Karin Kurosaki, Ichigo's little sister.
Ururu was prepared with a safety net for the return of Yoruichi, Ichigo, and his friends after they save Rukia. She fored it into the sky to save them from the deadly fall, and Kisuke escorted them all home.
The quiet of the town was shaken when the Espada hollows of Sousuke Aizen attacked. Urahara returned with Yoruichi, who needed her injured tended to. The Soul Society reacted by sending several Soul Reapers from the Gotei 13 to the Human World, and Renji Abarai came to live with them. One night, Grimmjow invaded with his Arrancar Fraccion. Ilforte Grantz attacks Renji at Urahara's Shop. Ururu is awoken by the presence of the strong Spiritual Pressure. When she sees Ilforte Grantz, she enters "Genocide Mode" and attacks. She strikes him from behind with a devastating kick, grand him by the throat, and starts striking him as a danger that must be eliminated. Frustrated that he can't hit her back he releases his sealed Zanpakuto. In this form he gores Ururu with his horn, and Jinta catches her. Ilforte is ultimately defeated by Renji using his Bankai. Tessai treats her wounds, and Jinta wants her to celebrate the next day.
Ichigo eventually left for Hueco Mundo through Urahara's Shop to rescue Orihime Inoue from Aizen's forces.
With Karakura Town undefended once more, Kisuke had the idea to create the costumed heroes called the Karakura-Raizer. Ururu is made part of the team along with Kon, in Ichigo's body; and several of Ichigo's friends. Tatsuki Arisawa was especially jealous of Ururu's power. Ururu was known as Karakura-Raizer Tiny-Devil.
In assistant with the Gotei 13, all the Karakura-Raizer, except Ururu, were put to sleep with the rest of the population as four pillars were placed around the town to transport Karakura Town and the people to the Soul Society for safe keeping away from Aizen. When Aizen and his Espada arrived, there was a fake version of the town in it's place. Ichigo followed Aizen to the Soul Society to defeat him, but lost all his Soul Reaper powers in the process. Ururu nor Jinta took part in the events of this war.
Seventeen months had passed, and Ururu was stopping Jinta from bullying some boys who were playing ball in front of the shop. Ichigo's sister, Karin, had been visiting Urahara's Shop frequently for devices to ward off ghosts and Hollows.
The source of Ururu's incredible strength and power is unknown. Despite her tiny and petite body, she can deliver devastating attacks that can crush boulders and possible kill a regular human in an instant without protection.
Ururu frequently uses a giant rocket launcher-like weapon called the Senren Bakusatsu Taihō (千連魄殺大砲), which translates to "Thousand Soul-Killing Cannon". This launcher is sealed in wrappings that are written over by sutras. It's capable of firing multiple rockets that can can defeat Hollows, and it's also able to fire non-lethal ordinance, such as the safety net used when Ichigo and his friends returned from the Soul Society.
