Kazuya Aoi, a first year student, is transferred to West Genetics Academy in the middle of the school year. Incidentally, he is also the younger brother of Kazuha Aoi, who has sacrificed herself in the last war againt the Nova. While he is touring the school grounds, he encounters second year students who are participating in Carnival, which determines the rankings of the class.

In particular, he is drawn to Satellizer el Bridget, aka the Untouchable Queen, who resembles his late older sister. Kazuya touches her, while she is in the middle of a battle with Ganessa Roland. His interference causes Satellizer to lose her number one ranking to her opponent.

Kazuya's physical contact with Satellizer also alarms other students, who fear Satellizer. For she has a reputation for severely injuring (even killing) anyone who touches her. An interesting friendship start to develop between them.
