The fourth prince of the Black Panther kingdom. He is saddistic and a narssisist that will only swallow his pride if his older brother Kion is involved.
Ukyou isn't one for friendship, especially with someone new how wants to be friends. Even though he's the top student in the class, he hates being there and around most people. However he is self absorbed and incredibly arrogant, demanding others do as he says.
When he meets Kureha, he can't stand being the guard to keep her safe along with his only two friends Chigaya and Chouchou. In his mind, she is a stupid, ugly, short girl who just give up and let him eat her. The main reason he dislikes Kureha is because she refuses to let him eat her, because of this he acts like a jerk to her.
Ukyou isn't actually royalty. When he was a child, his parents sent him off with some palace guards saying, "Its fine to take him, he wasn't wanted here anyway. After that, he was taken to the palace where he learned he was to the the fourth prince and heir to the Black Panther Kingdom's throne if all three of its current heirs died.
Immediately the queen took a liking to Ukyou and pampered him as if he was her own, but when her eldest son Kion recovered she completely forgot about Ukyou and paid all her attention to him. Kion was jealous of the relationship Ukyou and his mom had, so he vowed to take away everything his little "brother" loved.
Since Kion was the oldest he could do as he pleased and was pampered by everyone in the castle. He is the only man that can make Ukyou tuck his tail between his legs and bow in respect. Ukyou does not respect or love Kion, he only hates the man who is hell-bent on making his life miserable.
Ukyou met Chigaya and Chouchou later in elementary school and he feared making friends with the two because of his brother. But when he learned his brother didn't know of his friends he was gradually more open (well as much as his personality let him). However he closed off to the world again in middle school when the "rabbit" there made friends with him. He developed a crush on her, and just like that she gone; take away by his older brother.
