So I stumbled upon this post today, which talks about a manga in Japan called Ubunchu-- which is about three school kids who start on their adventures with Ubuntu, a popular Linux distribution.
But before you start complaining that you don't read Japanese, check out the post again-- the blogger actually got permission from the creators to translate the comic's 11 pages into English. It's so incredibly nerdy, I feel kind of dirty just for reading it. But I'm going to pass it on to my Ubuntu-programmer brother anyway.
The original manga is by Hiroshi Seo, who also worked on a manga called Akiba Sho (about police officers in Akihabara)-- it was published in Afternoon back in '05-06.
Here are the first few pages for your perusal:
Side note: they also flipped the manga, so that it's read from left to right. Oddly enough it almost feels nostalgic, although I generally prefer the stuff unflipped. How about you?
