Summary
Tycho Science is a member of the Fraternity, a group of young men and women known as "Topless" that pilot special weapons known as "Buster Machines" that are used to fight against the space mosnters threatening humanity. Tycho is part of a group of Topless known as 'Idols,' a small group of the top performing (and best looking) Topless. Tycho, however, is always playing second fiddle to Lark, both in looks and performance. Because of this, Tycho resents Lark and is always competing with her for attention and recognition.History
When she was little, Tycho had an older brother whom she was very close to. Unfortunately, her brother ended up getting diagnosed with space radiation sickness. Before he died, her brother made Tycho a pair of earings which she wears constantly. Tycho's first Buster Machine ended up getting wrecked by a swarm of space monsters after she let her guard down. Because Buster Machines are very hard to make (most of the ones made don't even activiate), Tycho was left without a machine until a newly made one was brought to the Fraternity: Quatre-Vingt-Dix. Although Nono was trying to become the pilot of Quatre-Vingt-Dix, Tycho ended up activating it after she realized she was acting childish because of her brother's death. Using Quatre-Vingt-Dix's Exotic Maneuver, Tycho was able to single-handedly stop the large swarm of space monsters heading towards a space colony.
