Tsurara is a Snow Fairy(yuki-onna) that lives on the Mount Fuji of Airan Island. She is also the mother of Michiru.

Due to Michiru's half yuki-onna body, she has difficulty dealing with the warmer temperatures of the island. This was mistaken as her being unhealthy. Due to her lack of involvement in the village, Michiru is often forgotten about.
