Akatsuchi is a ninja from the Hidden Stone Village

As the son of the 3rd Hokage, Tsunade's sensei, Asuma has a good working relationship with Tsunade as one of her most trusted jounins.

Dan Katō was a ninja of the Hidden Leaf Village and lover of Tsunade. His death was the cause of her Hemophobia.

Ei is the older brother of Killer Bee and the Fourth Raikage of the Hidden Cloud Village.

Hashirama Senju, the 1st Hokage and co-founder of the Hidden Leaf village, is Tsunade's grandfather. Tsunade follows on from him taking the title of 5th Hokage.

Hiruko was an acquaintance of "The Sannin" (Tsunade, Jiraiya and Orochimaru) during their days as Hidden Leaf ninja. Hiruko grew jealous of their growing ability and renown and left to research ways to become stronger. This leads to the events of the third Naruto Shippuuden film: Inheritors of the Will of Fire.

Hiruzen Sarutobi, the 3rd Hokage, was Tsunade's sensei. Everything Tsunade learnt about the ninja world and protecting the village and those close to her she learnt from him.

A fellow member of the Hidden Leaf's "Sannin." As Jiraiya left for the Hidden Rain to investigate "Pain," the apparent leader of Akatsuki, Tsunade showed signs that she had feelings for Jiraiya after rejecting him so many years a go. She was unable to act upon this as to her dismay, Jiraiya fell in battle against Pain.

Jirocho Wasabi is the leader of the Wasabi Family in the Land of Tea.

Regarded as the most powerful and well-known of Tsunade's jounin, Kakashi is trusted with the most important of missions on behalf of the Hidden Leaf. Tsunade trusts Kakashi in looking after Naruto, knowing that his actions regarding the young Jinchuuriki will reflect on her as the Hokage, good or bad.

Katsuyu is the giant Slug Queen summoned by the Fifth Hokage, Tsunade. She is powerful in all areas including defensive and offensive capabilities. She is summoned only in rare times of great need, such as when Pain invaded Konoha.

Kunugi Mokume is a jonin-ninja form the Hidden Leaf Village.

Mifune is a samurai from the Land of Iron and is the leader of it's samurai forces.

Migaki is a doctor of the hospital in the Hidden Leaf Village.

Tsunade first met Naruto during Jiraiya's mission to recruit her as the 5th Hokage. Back then she regarded him as a mere genin, full of idealistic nonsense. She now believes he will become the Hokage and will put her life on the line for him at any time.

Nawaki is the younger brother of Tsunade. He dreamed of becoming the Hokage but died during the war.

Okisuke is a samurai from the Land or Iron and a bodyguard to Mifune.

Rock Lee was destined to end his career as a ninja after only a few years following a battle with Gaara of the Sand. Tsunade and her unrivaled medical skills are the only reason he is back in the frontlines with his friends.

In the Naruto universe this man is seen as a legendary hero above all others. He was the first ever ninja, wields the Rinnegan and is responsible for the creation of elemental ninjutsu. He was also the Jinchuriki of the Ten-Tailed Beast.

Not wanting to rely on Naruto or anyone else, Sakura took the initiative by requesting that she become Tsunade's student in the ways of the medical ninja. Despite having a tough time at first, Sakura flourished under Tsunade's tutelage.

Senju Clan Ancestor is the youngest son of the Sage of Six Paths who believed love is the path to true peace.

Shee is a Hidden Cloud ninja.

Shibi is the father of Shino.

As the head of jounin, Shikaku has a larger say in Hidden Leaf then most of its ninja. He accompanies Tsunade during formal events and is her chief strategic during the 4th Ninja World War.

The first ninja of Naruto's generation to become a chuunin. Shikamaru formally represents his fellow classmates regarding missions and moral for Tsunade as his father does as the head jounin.

Shizune is the apprentice and personal assistant of the Fifth Hokage, Tsunade; and is the niece of her deceased love, Dan. She has learned a great deal about medical jutsu from Tsunade during their travels together.

In the aftermath of the Nine-Tailed Fox's attack on Konoha, Sora's father collected some of the latent chakra from the beast and put it into his son, giving him Junchuriki abilities similar to those of Naruto Uzumaki.

As the brother of Hashirama Senju, the 1st Hokage, Tobirama is Tsunade's great uncle and few known relatives of Tsunade.

Tonton travels with Tsunade and Shizune and despite not having the biggest vocabulary has a strong sense of justice. She has no ninjutsu abilities of note but will stand beside them against the most powerful villains like Orochimaru.

Urakaku is a samurai from the Land or Iron and a bodyguard to Mifune.

Tsunade's most trusted Anbu Black Ops member. Codename: Yamato is the first person Tsunade turns to for important missions regarding Danzo, his Anbu Root and Naruto's status as Hidden Leaf's Jinchuuriki.
