Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi News

Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi is a anime/manga character in the Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat franchise
| |

Hello everyone and welcome to the Henneko weekly review! I'm Takashichea, a wiki editor. I'm promoting the Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat Discussion thread that Daniel and I created at the Community Directory: Discussion Threads, Lists, Projects & More! hub.

Be sure to check out that.

To be honest, I'm embarrassed to write about Henneko, but I'm doing to show you guys and gals one of the weirdest fan service anime series this season. I love and hate Henneko at the same time. Yes, it's a cute and funny show, but watching it makes me feel like a pedobear. I would love it watch here at Anime Vice with you guys and gals at 's Anime Vice Chat!!!. It's better to watch a fan service show with company. Trust me on this.

Here is the synopsis:

It is about a second year high school boy named Yoto Yokodera who is always thinking about sex. However, no one seems to acknowledge that he is a pervert. One day, he visits a cat statue that he heard can grant wishes. He prays that he can express dirty things at any time. Then, he meets a girl named Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi who also made her wish.

I'm going to make this review short since I don't have much time. Forgive, I'm going to rushed through this.

Episode 1

Good

  • It's a cute series for those who love the character design in the show. It's faithful to the light novel designs. It screams Moe.
  • Depends on your preferences, you got Tsukiko, a quiet yet adorable girl, while you got Azusa, a tsundere yet cute girl. You might like Tsukiko or Azusa. It's the comedic interactions between Yoto, the perverted prince, and these two heroines.
  • Oh, I forgot Tsukushi, the steel king. If you're into femdom and big boobs, you'll love her.

Episode 2

Good

  • For fans of Azusa Azuki, you'll love this episode. She comes in a puppy maid cafe cosplay and a brides gown.
  • Yoto's strategy of getting Azusa Azuki to give up her facade is weird since he stalks her. Their little date scene was great.

Weird

  • Azusa Azuki might hate Yoto, but you can tell she likes him.

Episode 3

Good

  • The episode reveals more about Azusa and Tsukiko.
  • Tsukiko's dream is to be a kindergarten teacher while Azusa has the Ojou-sama facade because she is a shy person deep inside.

So far, Henneko is a character driven anime series. The objective so far is to find Tsukiko's facade. Yoto and Azusa have reach some closure.

Episode 4 - 6

Since I'm all out of time, I'm going to combine everything. Episodes 4, 5, and 6 just builds up on Tsukushi. You can see Tsukushi and Tsukiko have some issues. While Tsukiko believes her older sister is distancing herself, Tsukushi still loves her younger sister. She just couldn't express her feelings. One of funny moments in these last few episodes was that Tsukushi wanted to go to Michigan because gay marriage is allowed. When Tsukushi says that she wants to marry her younger sister, Tsukiko reminds her that they are siblings. Meanwhile, Yoto finds out his home has disappeared and relocated in Tsukiko's shack near her home.

Fan service gets absurd in this episode. You got a shower scene where Yoto flashes his jewels at the poor sisters. Then, Yoto gets to see Tsukiko naked twice so far. Funny moments arise when Tsukushi still believes Yoto's lies about having a twin brother and the time when Azusa makes a bad wish. For fans of Azusa and Tsukushi, you will enjoy this episode.

I have problems posting GIFs to show you how absurd these fan service are.

In the end, this show is for fans who can tolerate fan service and love cute characters. It's not for everyone especially the young 'uns.

Welcome to the Let's Talk edition where my teammates and I introduce a spring 2013 anime series to promote the discussion. Today's topic is Henneko, and the full title of Henneko is Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat.

(Since I don't have much time, I'm going to rush this blog. Sorry for the inconvenience)

Plot

Genres: Romance, Comedy

Yoto Yokodera's mind is always in the gutter, but no one seems to acknowledge that he's totally a pervert. One fine day, he visits a cat statue that he heard can grant wishes. He prays that he can express dirty things at any time. Then, he meets a girl named Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi who also made her wish to the statue.

Note: it's not a harem more like a love triangle. I got mixed up on this series when I made my impressions from the opening song.

You can watch Henneko legally on Crunchyroll.

Trailer

Characters

Here is our beautiful cast.

Yoto Yokodera
Voiced by Yuki Kaji, he is our perverted protagonist. He is a chatterbox - who only joins the track team, so he can peek at the all girls swim team through a crack in the wall.
Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi
Voiced by Yui Ogura, she is one of three heroines. At first, she is shy girl. Once she makes that wish, she is emotionless. Though, it's a drawback because the children are afraid of her. Tsukiko has a dream to become a kindergarten teacher, but she cannot express any emotions.
Tsukushi Tsutsukakushi
Voiced by Yukari Tamura, she is the "King of Steel." Tsukushi is a strict gal and has no tolerance for Yoto's pervertedness.
Azusa Azuki
Voiced by Kaori Ishihara, she is a pompous girl with a tsundere personality. Yoto believes Azusa has his facade and goes to great lengths to get it back from Azusa.

First Impressions

To be honest, I only watch the first episode when I heard there were Eyecatch. It's my wiki hobby to collect eyecatches for the Wiki Task: The Eyecatch Collection. As I watch it, it pulled me in a bit. Even though I didn't like Yoto who is so perverted and can't shut his damn mouth, I like Tsukiko. Her voice and mannerisms (after the wish) remind me of Mashiro Shiina from Pet Girl of Sakurasou. The characters' chemistry blend well, and it produces some good entertainment. Though, the comedy element doesn't feel natural or realistic like Oreimo. Most of comedy comes from Yoto being perverted or reprimanded.

For the animation and art style, I thought the characters are in middle school. However, they are high schoolers since Azusa has a part time job. In Japan's culture, high school students are the only ones below 18 to get a part time job. The art style makes the characters look so young.

Audience: I say fans who love slice of life, romantic, or comedy themed shows should give Henneko a try. Henneko is a cutesy, comedic series with a love triangle that is pretty common.

Welcome to the Megami Magazine's photo gallery spotlight for the June issue! Megami Magazine usually releases their magazine a month earlier.

Disclaimer: The content listed in this blog is for a mature audience. Viewer discretion is advised.

For those who are new, Megami Magazine features suggestive posters of characters from recent anime series, but not all of them are suggestive as you can see here. It was published by Gakken that first started in July 1999.

This blog idea was inspired by Sugoi Blog. I wanted to showcase these images. My thanks goes to who got me working on the wiki project.

Stay tuned for the next month on Megami Magazine. You can purchase the magazine to support Gakken at Amazon.co.jp.
