Tsugumi Ohba is the pen name of a fiction and manga writer best known for the series Death Note.

Ohba's true identity is unknown. There are those who theorize that Hiroshi Gamou, best known for the gag manga Tottemo! Luckyman; another common theory is that Ohba is the same person as Nisio Isin, who wrote the Death Note Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases novel.
