The Cute, Yet Possessive Girl of Kare Kano
Tsubasa is a petite and beautiful girl who has known Arima since meeting him in middle school. She has a crush on Arima even though the boy is oblivious to it, even after several attempts the girl made at confessions. Following a nasty skateboarding accident, Tsubasa was hospitalized and left out of school for a while. Returning months later, Tsubasa becomes infuriated at Yukino when she learns that the girl is Arima's girlfriend leading to an ugly rivalry between the two. Eventually though, the rivalry cools down where Tsubasa becomes another friend of Yukino's. Yukino is so smitten with Tsubasa's cuteness that she feels tempted to want to dress up the girl whenever they go shopping.
Tsubasa is raised in a wealthy family where her father has his own line of clothes he sells. Her mother died from giving birth to her and as a result, Tsubasa took charge of tending to homemaker duties throughout the house. She is very possessive of her father to the point where she became angry when her father considered remarrying after meeting a woman named Izumi, the nurse who treated Tsubasa during her recovery from the skateboarding accident.
