This movie is another side adventure in the quest to find Sakura's feathers. The group lands in the Country of Birdcages. They must help the local people defeat an evil, powerful king.

The travelers visit the Country of Birdcages where all of the citizens have a bird companion. They learn that the king posses a mysterious power and that some citizens live in hiding and have had their birds taken. This movie crosses over with the xxxHOLiC movie which aired along side this movie.
