As Rin coughs more blood, Ernest tells Yukio that Rin will
die as a martyr who saves Assiah. Ernest explains that they needed demon blood
and that Rin’s blood can increase the purity. After a plane takes off, Ernest
states that they are in a point of no return. Yukio decides to become the sacrifice
to save Rin’s life. In the air, Mephisto tells Amaimon about how the two
brothers are like two mirrors. Once Yukio slits his wrists to let the blood
drip on the ritual circle, he starts to have elongated ears and to have his
body twist and burn in blue flames. The priests who chant suddenly become inflamed in blue flames due to increased demon blood. Shiemi tries to help Rin,
but Yukio sends a wave of fire to keep Shiemi away. Suddenly, the Gehenna gate
emerges from the ritual circle with the demons laughing.
Takara talks for the first time
While the plane drops the bomb, Messiah, Takara narrates
from afar about how Ernest’s Messiah is like the fifth angel. When the demons
start sprouting out after the explosion, Takara calls the king, the angel from
the bottomless pit. The names for that king are Abaddon (in Hebrew) and
Apollyon the Destroyer (in Greek). Yukio wonders why the Messiah fails, and
Satan speaks in Shiro’s voice. Yukio shouts that Satan killed his mother and
father. Satan replies that Ernest killed Yuri, Yukio’s mother. Satan reveals
the truth through Yukio’s eyes.
Long ago, Shiro is smoking while he waits for Yuri who has
firewood. Despite Shiro’s urge to have Yuri go to the Vatican, Yuri
is cuddling with the demons. Shiro states that everyone is calling Yuri, the
witch of the black forest. After remembering what Ernest tells him, Shiro
starts killing the demons. Yuri tries to stop him, and her blue flames erupt.
Later, Yuri wakes up and tells Shiro about what happened a year ago. In the forest, Yuri walks with some people, and the blue
flames hit her and her group, but she survives. Yuri finds a blue flaming wolf
who tells her to stay away. Yuri insists which Satan bites her leg. Yuri lets
Satan inside her. Throughout Yuri’s life, Yuri tells Satan what life is.
Yuri: They will prove that demons and humans can exist together
After the Yuri tells Shiro about her story, she explains to
Shiro that she has Satan’s children. Ernest and the exorcists capture Yuri and
try to execute her. Satan attempts to save Yuri by possessing the exorcists one
by one, but each one dies. Only Ernest’s body survives long enough to cut Yuri
free. In the prison, Mephisto frees Shiro and leads Shiro to a cave where Yuri
reveals her twin boys. She explains the names of her twin children and states
that they will show that demons and humans can understand each other. Yuri dies
afterwards. Before Shiro can carry out his order to kill Satan’s children, he
sees Rin fussing. He stops and tells Mephisto that he will raise the children
as human children. Mephisto has Shiro accepting his wager. If Shiro raises the
children as humans, he wins. Then Mephisto transfers the blue flames from Rin
to the the demon slayer, Kurikara. As Shiro takes out a cigarette, he sees one
of babies fuss, and he quickly throws his cigarette away.
As the flashback is over, Yukio sees Ernest calling him for
help. Yukio grabs Ernest and asks Ernest if he orders Yuri to be burn. Ernest
confesses and calls Yuri and her children filth. Yukio loses his cool and the
flames burn Ernest’s clothes enough that Yukio lets Ernest drown in the Gehenna
gate. Satan takes over Yukio’s body after realizing Yukio is the
perfect vessel. As Satan laughs, Rin wakes and asks if the flaming boy with the
elongated ears is Yukio.
