• This episode begins with the last few minutes of the previous episode.
• The events of the battle between Team 9 and their Mirrored Clones was never shown in the manga. In fact, Tenten has never had a major battle illustrated in the manga. Only the start and the aftermath has been shown. Her battles have only been seen in the anime.
• Sasori's Hiruko armored puppet is finally fully exposed at the finale of this episode.

Hidden Leaf Omake:

• In the omake after the credits, Neji Hyuga and Rock Lee discuss the different sides of the Uchiha Clan, but Lee gets out of control and lifts Neji onto his shoulders.
