There have, in the last decade, been several Transformers short series, these were for the most part released directly to the internet or DVD

Transformers: Robot Masters-2004, Takara Tomy (2 short episodes direct to Region 2 DVD in Japan, Holds the distintion of being the only instance of Optimus Prime, Optimus Primal, and Leo Prime all fighting side by side against Megatron and Megatron 2 also fighting side by side!)

Beast Wars: Transformers: The Theft of the Golden Disc (see Beast Wars episode 0, Prequel to Beast Wars, first aired at a Transformers Botcon convention, has since been released on the internet VIA YouTube. This was a canon addition to Beast Wars)

Transformers Animated Shorts-2008/2009, The Answer (11 short episodes, first released as extras on DVD releases of Transformers Animated)

The majority of the manga centers around the Generation 1 continuity, including the Beast Wars and the Armada/Micron continuity. There have also been manga based on Transformers Animated and the Revenge of the Fallen movie, as well as very original takes on Generation 2 and G1 add ons like Kiss Players
