Aliens

Beings from another planet.

Autobot

A primary faction of the Transformers and they usually find themselves defending both their own race and other species from the more violent factions. They are not always good(Shattered Glass).

Beastformers

The intelligent alien/cyborg animals who reside on the planet Beast. They were drawn into the war between the Autobots and Decepticons and were split into two warring factions, some siding with the Autobots, others with Galvatron and the Decepticons.

Clip Show

An anime episode that centers around clips from other episodes of the series. Usually used as filler or as a way of recapping events of a long running series for new viewers. This is very common in many series.

Combiner

A combiner is a Transformer composed of several other Transformers

Constructicons

A group of Decepticons (formerly Autobots) that are able to disguise themselves as Construction Vehicles. Six of them have the ability to merge together to make Devastator.

Decepticon

A primary Transformer faction they typically want to conquer the universe, gather/hord energon, make powerful weapons, enslave weaker species, and cause mass destruction. They are not always evil(Shattered Glass).

Humans

Humans are typically depicted as the dominant species of the planet Earth, and sometimes of other planets. Humans often mirror their real life counterparts in terms of abilities and intellect, while other times they can achieve superhuman feats.

Major death

Death of a major character.

Nebulons

A race of humanoids who have limited transforming abilities who are often seen partnered with Autobot and Decepticon headmasters and targetmasters. They come from the planet Nebulos

Pirates

A Pirate is one who steal at sea or and plunders at land. It can also be a term used for adventurers who don't follow the laws of the land.

Predacons

The villain Transformers from the Beast Wars franchise, heavily featured in the Japanese Transformers anime (Beast Wars II, Beast Wars Neo, Robots in Disguise) When Ultra Magnus asked the question "Are you autobot or decepticon?" a Predacon simply hissed and said "neither".

Seen in many animes and mangas.

Seekers

The Seekers were the various Decepticon (and sometimes Autobot) jets, in addition to named Seekers such as their usual leader Starscream, a large number of un-named Seekers are seen in Transformers.

Slavery

A concept where one person is treated like the property of another, sometimes legally recognized as such in the eyes of the government as well. This concept applies to both those who have been enslaved and those who have "owned" a slave. In most cases the slave is a protagonist who rebels.

Sniper

A sniper is an individual who supports the front from distance. They use ranged weapons to shoot from very long distances with great accuracy. The snipers are famous for their precision and to attack from unexpected directions.

Talking Animals

Usually special animals that have the ability to speak to humans. Talking animals are a big part in several animes and mangas

Transformer Mini-Cassettes

These Autobots and Decepticons are generally associated with the Autobot Blaster or the Decepticon Soundwave. Their alt-mode is an unassuming cassette tape. They are modernly known as "Deployers"

Villains

The villain of the story.

Wartime

Wartime is a theme about the classing of different factions for power. It cam be either based upon real world wars, or fictional wars.
