Transformers: Rescue Bots

Overview

In an effort to make a Transformers series more accessible to younger children, Hasbro Studios created Transformers Rescue Bots, lacking the violence and other more mature concepts such as character deaths of it's "big brother" Transformers Prime, the series is based around the Rescue Bots, a team of Autobots working with a human family to protect the people of the remote Griffin Island. The series had a 2 episode sneak preview which aired December 17th 2011 on The Hub, and goes into ongoing status Saturday mornings starting on February 18th 2012.
The series occupies the same reality as Transformers Prime, and it has been stated that some characters from each show may have some crossover appearances in the other.
