Set your Tivo because the five-part series premiere story arc "Darkness Rising" will begin this month, starting on November 29th on The Hub.
The series boasts an outstanding cast, such as Peter Cullen and Frank Welker (Original voices of Optimus Prime and Megatron as well as the voices of the characters in the live action films) former WWE superstar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Cliffjumper, Steve Blum (Spike Spiegel in english dubs of Cowboy Bebop) as Starscream, and additional voice work by Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters, The Crow) as General Fowler, Adam Baldwin (Independence Day) as Breakdown, and Sumalee Montano (Hancock, ER, The West Wing, Nip/Tuck, Bones) as Arcee, just to name a few.
While the series does not officially debut until 11/29, there is a scheduled "preview" of episode 1 and 2 on 11/26... we will have to wait and see if these will be full episodes or just clips shown throughout normally scheduled programming.
The series has at the moment a first season run of 26 episodes,
The creative team at the moment consists executive producers of Jeff Kline (Men In Black the animated series, Godzilla the animated series, Jackie Chan Adventures)  and Alex Kurtzman (The Island, Mission Impossible 3) and a writing team consisting of Marsha Griffin (Ben 10, Kim Possible) and Steven Melching (Star Wars the Clone Wars) This new addition to the Transformers franchise hardly lacks talent, but ultimately the fans will decide if this series is successful or not.
