Gourmet Chefs are chefs from the Toriko verse. They cook meat, plants, and all sorts of ingredients that Gourmet Hunters have brought.

Gourmet Corps

The Gourmet Corps is a criminal organiztion that poaches rare ingredients. Their main goal is to obtain the legendary ingredient GOD and create a new Gourmet Empire.

Gourmet Hunters

Gourmet Hunters are a group of folks who hunt animals and forage for food as their occupations.

Gourmet Knight

Gourmet Knight is a frugal group in Toriko.

Gourmet Plants

Gourmet Plants includes fruits, vegetables, and carnivorous plants.

Saiseiya is an organization whose individuals protect food and plants from poachers and those who take too much.

An organization responsible for maintaining order in The Gourmet Age.


The Intimidation is a technique where fighters are projecting their fighting spirit as a giant creature, and with that they bring fear to their opponents causing them to flee the battle if the technique is strong enough.

Salamander Sphinx is a Gourmet Beast with a Capture Level of 92. Its key ingredient is Mellow Cola.

Shining Gourami is a special preparation ingredient found in the caves behind Death Falls.

Simultaneous Release

When anime or manga is broadcast or published -- usually on the internet -- in countries outside of Japan around the same time as it airs/releases in Japan, usually within one week or even 24 hours.

Special Preparation Ingredient is an ingredient that needs special care in order to capture before cooking it. Otherwise, the ingredient will ruin itself.
