Supposedly this is a fan made project that has nothing to do with Cartoon Network. I can sense legal actions coming to those people's way, but I hope that it will show Carton Network that people really love Toonami.

I think Toonami is never coming back.

Toonami is over, that the past (people should really learn to move on)

Several Toonami fan groups have been putting together sites like this. I've encountered a few of them personally, including one which had live streams of obvious DVD rips of various anime titles that would raised red flags on the legal front. Much as I miss Toonami, doing fan-run operations while streaming copyrighted material is begging one to get in deep legal troubles. People clearly don't know when to move on.

I am pretty sure that Toonami shall never be brought back. Cartoon Network retired it and began pushing forward with their Adult Swim programming instead.

If anyone has Cartoon Network on them right now, might wanna hurry and tune in to it. Looks like Adult Swim's annual April Fools joke has Toonami taking over the block for the night complete with new voiceovers from Steven Blum as TOM and promos of Adult Swim shows rendered in the Toonami style fonts and CG animation.

@yoru101: Not quite sure. The block is airing old Toonami shows in replacement of the anime you would see in Adult Swim's Saturday night block with exception to the latest dubbed Bleach episode which aired about an hour ago.

They aired DBZ at 12:30 and Gundam Wing is on now. Tenchi Muyo and Outlaw Star are next after that.

Unfortunately for me, my cable is messing up so I have no sound and my closed captioning is a garbled mess.

Which sucked because I had no idea what that Tenchi episode was about.

What sucks more is that this may just be an April Fool's thing. Cartoon Network needs to take a hint from Nickelodeon and have a late-night block dedicated to classic '90s Toonami.

@Paulrus: That was the second-to-last episode to the third Tenchi Muyo OAV series which I won't bother detailing on due to possible spoilers to those who haven't seen it yet.

Toonami aired that instead of the older titles of the franchise because they are still in licensing limbo from Funimation acquiring them a while back.

I see.

Still looked stupid though. I strongly preferred Tenchi Universe. What I saw looked like a total clusterfuck and my friend who was able to watch it with no cable problems was lost too.
