Okey-dokey. Let's make things a little interesting.

Many of us remember Toonami. It was one of the major launching pads that drove the anime boom of the late 1990s to early 2000s and helped create what many see as a part of Cartoon Network's golden age. As of September 20, it will be the second year of when Cartoon Network canned the block. In memory of Toonami, I have selected 10 titles from Toonami I never had the chance to either watch or complete and you folks get to decide what I will watch. As usual, you have three weeks to make your votes before September 1. Whichever anime on the poll receives the most votes by that time will be the Toonami title I will watch and review. Now go vote for what piece of Toonami I should now watch or watch again.

MANNNNNN WHy must you make this so hard!!!!

Also Where is the Outlaw Star love!

But....

DAMN....

I wanted to say Blue Submerine number 6
G-gundam
YuYu Hakusho (seems a bit long for a watch and learn)
And Zoids Chaotic Century.

But I'll go Blue Sub #6 It was good and I want to re-watch it so I'd watch it with you if you watched it. ^^ it's been years.

@Dream:  I would go with Yu Yu Hakusho because after watching Pokemon (1997-2002) and Digimon (1999-2003), it (along with InuYasha) were the next shows that continued to expand my interest in the world of anime. I found it to be quite enjoyible and a good watch, and since I have not seen any of the other shows listed on your poll, I recommend this one.

Yeah but it's got 112 episodes.. not sure if it's a bit lengthy or not.

@Catolf:  I've already seen Outlaw Star.

And I'm prepared for the long haul if I have to see any of the longer titles on this poll since the last 50+ episode title I seen (Monster) was over a year ago.

I will say Tenchi in Tokyo, that was the first Tenchi series that I saw.

Why isn't this a part of the Toonami forums?

G Gundam, it was the first manga I ever picked up and one of the first anime I saw. Damn good story too.

Hard to believe Outlaw Star isn't on there, but I'll have to go with G Gundam, since to me Yu Yu Hakusho will always be an Adult Swim show.

@Kou_Leifoh:  I did make a blog posting as a reminder of the Devil's Advocate poll in the Toonami forum. I won't mind if anyone bugs the mods to move this thread there, just as long as I'm aware of the move.

I voted 08th MS.  That was the first Gundam I saw and the one that got me into the series.

For me, there was nothing like Tenchi in Tokyo at the time. I had so many fond memories, of playing my Dreamcast after watching all the Toonami animes back in 2000-2001. =)

@Dream: You've never seen MSG?

I would say if you want a mecha, the must see is MSG, for obvious reasons.

G Gundam is basically gundam and dbz mixed together, I don't think you'd like it.

08th MS team is a "real" kinda gundam, it simulates real world war well. However I would not recommend watching it without having watched MSG first. MSG is about the stars and politics of the UC one year war, 8th MS team is about the average grunts.

Yu yu hakusho is a solid show, I recommend it if you want to watch a shonen fighter.

Most likely though you'd probably enjoy Tenchi in Tokyo.

@hitsusatsu11:  Depends on if I like it. I've seen some episodes and feedback with Tenchi in Tokyo. Folks hated it for the animation style being different and the fact it was more focused on new girl Sakuya than the harem getting Tenchi's attention and my feelings of Tenchi Universe were so-so. Just because I liked the OAVs doesn't mean I'm into everything Tenchi.

Midnight's officially come. And the Toonami anime I shall watch and review is...

My next Devil's Advocate poll won't start up until September 10 (next Friday). Until then, on to the show.
