Tomo Takino

History

Since she determinedly scores low on homework and tests, Tomo Takino's friends sometimes wonder how she got into their prestigious high school. Tomo reveals that when her best friend Yomi suggested that she would never get into the school, she buckled down and worked hard and was able to get in-- to spite Yomi, rather than for any goal of personal advancement. She also gave the transfer student Ayumu Kasuga the nickname "Osaka," despite her complaints that it's a "bleh" nickname.

Personality

Tomo is a very energetic and impulsive girl who acts before thinking of the consequences. She doesn't excel at academics and athletics like many within her circle of friends as she regularly receives poor grades and in athletic festival running events, the girl has the bad habit of using up all her stamina to run at her fastest at the start of a race before being completely exhausted a short time afterward. She also bares enough similarities to her teacher, Yukari. Like Yukari towards Nyamo, Tomo enjoys tormenting a friend in the form of Yomi. Both like video games and Tomo is the only one who loves Yukari's destructive driving. Despite their similar personalities though, Yukari and Tomo do have a love-hate relationship as Yukari often considers Tomo to be the bane of her existence.
