Plot Summary: The story is about Yuuki Rito, a high-school boy who cannot confess to the girl of his dreams, Sairenji Haruna. One day when coming home and sulking in the bath-tub a mysterious, nude girl, appears out of nowhere. Her name is Lala and she comes from the planet Deviluke, where she is the heir to the throne. After watching Elfen Lied, which as a dark a brutal show, I thought I would watch something a little nicer so I picked To Love-Ru.
Since I'm a fan of harem comedies, I thought I would check this one out.
To Love-Ru was a fun and enjoyable harem show.  The story was goofy and awesome at the same time and it was easy to follow to.  Rito has a chance to rule the universe someday.  Who wouldn't want to do that?  The show also had lots of ecchi/fanservice.  Unfortunately the episodes I watched where censored so they rarely showed any panty shots, breasts, etc. what so ever.

Most of the characters were good.  Rito was very enjoyable.  It seemed like through out the whole show something bad always happens to him and he has to get out of sticky situations, especially during the final two episodes when he has the save planet earth from Lala's father.  Lala was a free spirited girl who happens to love Rito.  If she has something on her mind, she wants to do it.  In one of the episodes she sees a comercial for a hot spring so she wants one.  She ends up digging into the Earth and ends up finding the seven colored hot springs in the middle of the earth.  Haruna was a sweet girl.  While Rito likes her, I think she likes him back but, doesn't show anything.  Maybe this is cleared up in the manga.  There are other great characters as well but there is just one that is annoying, Saki.  While she did look sexy, she had that stupid annoying laugh of hers.  Every time she laughed, I wanted to kick her in the face.
If you are a fan of the harem genre, like me, then you will find some enjoyment out of the show.  It's unfortunate that the manga got canned do to not having fresh storyline material but, the anime is still worth a watch.
My Score - 4 out of 5
