To Be Chased and Pursued

Plot Summary

The Student Council meet up and all agree, Lashara reluctantly, for Kenshi to be loaned out to others because of his great skill. Lashara however tells Kenshi not to help out her cousin, Maria.

When word spreads of this news throughout the school, female classmates of Kenshi decide to chase him to acquire his skills personally. After a while of failure, the classmates decide to join forces to pursue him.

Again, the female classmates begin to chase Kenshi throughout the school. To no avail. Kenshi, constantly managers to avoid their capture. At times they corner him, however he still manages to finds a way to escape their clutches. They leave traps for Kenshi, but he sees through them. Unfortunately, they do not and fall into their own traps.

As a week has gone by, the classmates have still not caught Kenshi. Maria has told Yukine to stay alert and to help Kenshi whenever he needs it. Maria gets a phone call from her mother. She suspects her daughter has found something she desires. Maria denies but her mother can see through denial and becomes excited. She also reminds Maria of her up and coming holiday to her lands.

While being chased, Kenshi manages to help out with chores and ill people. Lithia has been suffering from illness for a while. Kenshi sees her in this way. When Lapis makes her tea, Kenshi helps her with a remedy that could help her. Later on she feels much better and they reveal to her that it was because of Kenshi. Kenshi also manages to put time in to help Hannah with painting. The moment Hannah lets him go early; Kenshi is once again pursued by his female classmates.

Chasing Kenshi seems to get nowhere; the upper classmates devise a new tactic. This tactic requires the help of the basic robotic models. Since the basic models are powered by a wire, Kenshi weaves his way around the trees to stop them. For Kenshi this works, unfortunately for Kenshi, the upper classmates had gone to Wan for assistances on capturing Kenshi. The basic robotic models are now steam powered. The steam power gives them thirty minutes of operation. Maria’s servant, Yukine helps out Kenshi from being captured and brings him into Maria’s home.

Word gets back to Lashara that Yukine has Kenshi. When she told Kenshi not to help out Maria, she immediately travels to Maria’s home. As Lashara charges in, she sees Kenshi holding a collapsed Yukine, who also happens to be revealing part of her bosom. Speculation spreads of Kenshi stealing Yukine’s chastity. Maria demands that Kenshi marry Yukine and become her own servant. This leads to arguments that Aura cools by suggesting a game to decide who gets Kenshi.

The game is to venture through the forest to find ingredients to make a dish called, Nabe. Ulyte asks to judge the winner and requests Kenshi take part to win his own freedom. Everyone has their own methods of getting ingredients from the forest. Lashara’s method is to grab everything she can. When Lashara quickly returns with her findings, Ulyte informs her that they are all poisonous. Lithia, along with Lapis uses a book to examine whether it is the right ingredient, but this takes time as they have no ingredients. Wan’s idea was to just get what Kenshi plucked using her robot. Kenshi outsmarts her leading her and her robot into the lake.

Everyone returns with their findings from the forest and they are made into Nabe. Everyone’s palate is fine until they try Kenshi’s. They all love Kenshi’s dish. They vote him the winner and he gains his freedom. After they finish eating they ask Kenshi to show what he used to make his dish. He reveals a lot of dead wildlife which at the sight of it sends all but Aura into a state of illness.
