A giant pirate ship island, originally from the West Blue Sea that was once located in the Florian Triangle of the Grand Line, Thriller Bark was badly damaged in the events of the Thriller Bark Arc when the Straw Hat Pirates became involved with Brook. Formerly ruled by Gecko Moria.
Origin
Drifting along the dark, ghastly seas of the mysterious Florian Triangle located on the Grand Line, Thriller Bark is actually a massive pirate ship with a entire island built right in the middle of it. Ruled by Gecko Moria and his powerful associates, Thriller Bark was one place that you hoped to never see with your eyes, for doom and death lurk within it's cold, dark walls. The Straw Hat Pirates found themselves at Thriller Bark shortly after becoming involved with the living skeleton Brook.
Creation
Thriller Bark was originally created by Eiichiro Oda for use in the One Piece manga series. It first appears in One Piece: Volume 46 and in One Piece: Episode 3__.
