Thor

Thor is quite possibly the most powerful hero the Marvel Universe has. Being banished from Asgard, home of the Norse Gods, by his father Odin, Thor is sent to earth to live as Donald Blake a doctor with a lame leg. Eventually Odin chooses to restore Thor and mystically gives Donald Blake the urge to go to Norway for a vacation. While hiking in the woods an alien ship landed and out of it stone creatures came. The aliens began destroying everything in their path. Blake hurried into a cave and found a hammer with the inscription, "Whosoever wields this hammer, if he be worthy. Shall posses the power of Thor". Blake was drawn to the hammer and lifted it, and as soon as he did he was transformed into his true form of Thor! Thor effortlessly defeated the aliens and thus began Thor's adventures on Earth.

POWERS AND ABILITIES:

Thor's strength is great enough to lift the weight of earth itself. Thor also has had eons of combat experience and is very skilled in the use of swords, axes, and hammers. While not truly immortal Thor ages at a rate far slower than humans, he has lived for millions upon millions of years and still looks young. Thor's hammer Mjolnir grants him the power of the storm and when thrown can come back to him. The hammer also listens to his mental commands and can be called back to him no matter the distance. With the Mjolnir Thor can create storms on a global scale and even in places with no atmosphere such as the vacuum of space. It can also absorb and redirect energy, open dimensional portals, create shields, and even track energy signals. Mjolnir also allows Thor to fly. Mjolnir cannot be wielded by any but Thor or someone that is worthy. Anyone who is not worthy cannot so much as budge the hammer. The only one who has ever lifted the hammer and not be worthy was The Hulk with his strength increasing with his anger, thus over riding the worthiness enchantment.
