Miu wakes up to see Akatsuki standing by, and everyone is laying on the ground. Miu could not believe Phil is still alive, and Akatsuki looks at his sword that disintegrates. He tells Miu to believe in him, and Miu gives Akatsuki her AD band. Then, Nanase offers her AD band. Akatsuki charges at Phil, and he pushes back at Phil's breath attack. Akatsuki is sent flying into the air, and as Phil prepares to fire again, Akatsuki wakes up. He snaps on his AD bands and forms his sword. As Akatsuki cuts through Phil's breath attack, he cuts Phil in half. With Phil dead in the explosion, Miu runs up to Akatsuki and embraces him with tears streaming down her cheeks. Later, a mysterious group evaluates Akatsuki's performance, and the others are impressed with Akatsuki. Though, some are not impressed, and the others talk about their plans reaching its final stages. A man states that the founder is his alone. Michael asks Hikami why he did not intervene in Akatsuki's fight. Though, Hikami states that if he did, he would hurt others in a 3 KM radius. He asks Michael if he would sacrifice his brother. Later, Kaidou informs Akatsuki about Nanase who is angry with him. He tells Akatsuki about the results and that Akatsuki's team made to class A. Akatsuki points that Kaidou used chains to bind Phil in their battle. Downstairs, Kaidou speaks with his boss on the phone and wonder if Akatsuki can put up a fight with Hikami. Then, Zechs and Rutie arrive with urgent news, and Zechs debriefs them about the master of Black Mountain has free the monsters due to the death of Zahak. Lord Baram refuses to believe it, and the Pope asks Baram what he will do. Zechs states that forces stationed along their border with Disdia have been annihilated. It's assumed that demons did it. Back in Akatsuki's world, Miu finds Akatsuki sleeping on the grass. Miu trips and rests at Akatsuki's side. Back in Alazzard, Listy remembers Akatsuki's words about him asking her to call her when there's trouble. When Listy cries, Akatsuki senses Listy's plea.

Miu wants to go with Akatsuki, and then, Chikage and Kuzuha stand up, too. Outside of Akatsuki's residence, Kaidou finds Nanase hesitating to ring the doorbell. Nanase tells him that she is delivering a gift from a professor to Akatsuki. Kaidou teases Nanase that he was watching her for an hour. Then, the two see a dimensional gate opening. Akatsuki instructs the girls to picture Alazzard. Nanase and Kaidou arrive, and Kaidou straps some chains on Akatsuki.
