TWEWY was originally a video game for the Nintendo DS, which was well praised by reviewers. It was later adapted into a manga by Shiro Amano, the mangaka of the Kingdom Hearts manga.
It tells the story of Neku Sakuraba, a teenager disillusioned with life. One day, he wakes up on the Scramble Crossing at Shibuya with no recollection of anything save his own name. He finds himself caught up in the Reaper's Game, and ventures out to finish this game and find his identity.
